Holographic Co-dim 2 Defects in 7d Supergravity and Their Uplifts

Abstract: In this talk we discuss the holographic description of co- dimension 2 defects in d=6 SCFTs. We present solutions in seven dimensional gauged supergravity describing such defects and their uplifts to eleven dimensions, embedding in LLM solutions, as well as the construction of more general defect solutions in this framework.
